The CoScreen application which is currently only available for macOS devices turns a user’s extended screen into their team’s desktop. Any window a user drags and drops to their extended screen is shared with the other team members. They can share their windows with the user in the same way on the same desktop. Each team member has an own mouse pointer and can interact with all windows without having to request controls.
With CoScreen, users are fully immersed with their team as they can interact with shared windows as if they were their own, including typing and clicking into them as well as moving as resizing. Each team member has their own mouse pointer. The remote collaboration experience is equivalent to sitting in front of the same desktop computer but everyone has an own mouse, keyboard and even a private space. While the remote collaboration experience is best with multiple screens, it also works seamlessly with single screens where users can go online & offline with a single click. Collaboration is further fueled by tightly integrated audio chat capabilities.
CoScreen is built with a laser focus on tight agile teams who collaborate frequently in highly interactive ways, primarily work on desktop computers, and often connect ad-hoc to get things done together. CoScreen is currently only offered for macOS devices, but other platforms are on the roadmap and it is being evaluated as part of peer programming, brainstorming exercises, standups, code and design reviews, bug fixing, knowledge sharing, and many more use cases.
