OpenEmu

Open Emu is an open source project to bring game emulation to OS X as a first class citizen, leveraging modern OS X technologies such as Cocoa, Core Animation and Quartz, and 3rd party libraries like Sparkle for auto-updating. Open Emu is based on a modular architecture, allowing for game-engine plugins, this means Open Emu can support a host of different emulation engines and back-ends while retaining a familiar OS X native front-end.

Kawaks

Kawaks is a streamlined Neo-Geo/Capcom (CPS1/2) emulator that works well even in low-end computers and is compatible with Kaillera Netplay. You can assign macros to specific keys to perform otherwise complicated supermoves!

FB Alpha

FB Alpha or FBA as it is commonly known is an emulator of arcade games, that is, it takes the program code, graphics data, etc., from an original arcade game and emulates the hardware to make the game run in it's original form. As far as the game is concerned it is running in it's original cabinet. FB Alpha is an open-source project and it is programmed by a group of people known as the FBA Team.

RetriX

RetriX is the first Libretro front end that is optimized for multiple input methods: gamepad, mouse + keyboard and touch are all first class citizens. RetriX is also built from the ground up to take advantage of Windows 10's gaming and security features. It can run on desktop, tablet, phone and Xbox One (in dev mode). Holographic, Mixed Reality and Continuum on phone should work too but haven't been tested. - One app.

ProSystem

The ProSystem Emulator is an Atari 7800 emulator for the PC and Windows OS. The emulator was written in C++ using the Windows API and DirectX. It emulates the Atari 7800 NTSC and PAL TV standards.

Nostlan

A front-end or user interface (UI) is the presentation and interaction layer of an app or website. Most modern emulator apps have basic game list UIs that you can interact with using a mouse/keyboard but not a game controller. Nostlan looks similar to media viewers like Kaleidescape and AppleTV. You can interact with it using a mouse or game controller. Unlike other popular front-end launchers for video game emulators, Nostlan has a minimalistic design that prioritizes box art, not metadata.
