MapET Spatial Feature Server is software that makes your geographic information (vector data) available to others in your organization and optionally anyone with an Internet connection. This is accomplished through web services, which allow a powerful server computer to receive and process requests for information sent by other devices. MapET Spatial Feature Server opens your GIS to devices that can connect to web services.
To get started with MapET Spatial Feature Server, you'll need to prepare your data, then you can set up GIS services.
MapET Spatial Feature Server have various types of GIS service:
MapService
FeatureService
WMS Service
MapService and WMS Service allow the mapping of your vectorial data.
The FeatureService allow editing.
All the services are queryables and return information about attributes and geometries (WMS Service only attributes).
The GIS services hosted by MapET Spatial Feature Server are accessible through a hierarchy of endpoints or Uniform Resource Locators (URLs).
The protocol is REST, short for Representational State Transfer.
The response of GIS service is compliant to GeoServices REST Specification Version 1.0.
The WMS Service is compliant with the OGC specifications.

The vector data published by MapET Spatial Feature Server are stored in the spatial extension of the major RDBMS, such Oracle, Microsoft SQLServer, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
