Dia

Dia is a GTK+ based diagram creation program for Linux, Unix, Mac OS X and Windows released under the GPL license. Dia is roughly inspired by the commercial Windows program Microsoft Office Visio, though more geared towards informal diagrams for casual use. It can be used to draw many different kinds of diagrams. It currently has special objects to help draw entity relationship diagrams, UML diagrams, flowcharts, network diagrams, and many other diagrams.

Modelio

Modelio is an open source modeling tool supporting natively UML, BPMN and model exchange with XMI. It allows to draw all UML2 diagrams and specific diagrams for business process modeling. It is easy and powerful with the capacity to add new functionalities to the application. In fact, it is possible to generate and reverse engineering source code (Java, ...), generate web documentation or work with other modeling languages and standards (SysML, TOGAF, ...).

Papyrus UML

Graphical modelling open source UML2 tool based on Eclipse environment. Papyrus is aiming at providing an integrated and user-consumable environment for editing any kind of EMF model and particularly supporting UML and related modeling languages such as SysML and MARTE.
