Clutter Cloak
Clutter Cloak is a tiny anti-distraction program for Windows XP.
It is activated by a configurable hotkey, then obscures everything on the screen except the child window immediately under the mouse pointer. (By default the hotkey is Ctrl-F11.)
Most usefully, the area left highlighted would be the content pane of an editor, web browser or other document viewer, but Clutter Cloak doesn’t care and will happily cover up everything on the screen except a toolbar if that’s what the pointer is over when it is activated.
It has three modes: standard, photo/video mode and blind input mode, described on the homepage.
The source is installed from the installer along with the program.
