ERgent locates hospitals with the best average wait times and factors in Medicare-reported scores in pain control, chest pain symptoms, and neurologic symptoms. Here’s how ERgent works:
You can use ERgent’s recommendation – our “Door to Doctor” algorithm uses your GPS location to offer the hospital with a combination of the best average wait time and highest quality of care. We give you a few others in the area, too, just so you can see all the options.
You can use ERgent’s option for symptoms:
Head – Have a bad headache that you want to get checked out? These emergency departments have the highest scores in neurologic examinations in your area.
Pain – Sore or think you need an x-ray? These emergency departments have the highest scores in pain control in your area.
Heart – Feeling unwell? These emergency departments have the highest scores in cardiac care in your area.
You can use Search By Location – Looking for a hospital in a different location than where you are currently? Our search option allows you to type in any address in the United States with ERgent's algorithm.
