The BIG-IP Edge Portal™ application facilitates secure remote access to enterprise web applications. This application can bookmark frequently accessed enterprise web applications and automatically authenticate the end-user with BIG-IP Edge Gateway™ and FirePass™ SSL VPN solutions. This application does not provide layer 3 access to corporate resources, but instead provides a layer 7 content rewrite proxy and bookmarks for access to corporate protected web applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
BIG-IP Edge Gateway™ or FirePass™ must be configured to allow Portal / Web Application access (HTML content rewrite).
