No$GBA

NO$GBA is a Nintendo DS emulator for Microsoft Windows. It is capable of running commercial and homebrew Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS games, such as Pokémon Diamond which the latest version is able to run at full speed with no graphical glitches. It was considered by many communities the best Nintendo DS emulator due to the fact that it is capable of running most of the commercial games at full speed and without video/audio errors.

VisualBoyAdvance-M

VisualBoyAdvance (commonly abbreviated as VBA) is a free emulator of the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance handheld game consoles as well as of Super Game Boy and Super Game Boy 2. The VisualBoyAdvance project was started by "Forgotten". When this person left the development of the emulator, the project was handed over to a team named "VBA Team", led by Forgotten's brother. Development on the original VisualBoyAdvance stopped in 2004 with version 1.8.

Mednafen

Mednafen is a portable, utilizing OpenGL and SDL, argument(command-line)-driven multi-system emulator with many advanced features. The Atari Lynx, GameBoy (Color), GameBoy Advance, NES, PC Engine (TurboGrafx 16), SuperGrafx, Neo Geo Pocket (Color), PC-FX, and WonderSwan (Color) are emulated. Mednafen has the ability to remap hotkey functions and virtual system inputs to a keyboard, a joystick, or both simultaneously. Save states are supported, as is real-time game rewinding.

mGBA

mGBA is a new Game Boy Advance emulator written in C. The project started in April 2013 with the goal of being fast enough to run on lower end hardware than other emulators support, without sacrificing accuracy or portability. Even in the initial version, games generally play without problems. It is loosely based on the previous GBA.js emulator, although very little of GBA.js can still be seen in mGBA.

RetriX

RetriX is the first Libretro front end that is optimized for multiple input methods: gamepad, mouse + keyboard and touch are all first class citizens. RetriX is also built from the ground up to take advantage of Windows 10's gaming and security features. It can run on desktop, tablet, phone and Xbox One (in dev mode). Holographic, Mixed Reality and Continuum on phone should work too but haven't been tested. - One app.

Nostlan

A front-end or user interface (UI) is the presentation and interaction layer of an app or website. Most modern emulator apps have basic game list UIs that you can interact with using a mouse/keyboard but not a game controller. Nostlan looks similar to media viewers like Kaleidescape and AppleTV. You can interact with it using a mouse or game controller. Unlike other popular front-end launchers for video game emulators, Nostlan has a minimalistic design that prioritizes box art, not metadata.
