iDeaS is a plugin-based Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS emulator for Microsoft Windows and Linux, using the GTK+ toolkit.
The touch screen is fully emulated with a mouse cursor instead of a stylus, and a keyboard can be used to emulate the DS buttons.
iDeaS uses a plugin system so that further support can be achieved without looking at the source code of the emulator.
Support for the DS microphone was added in version 1.0.3.0, with a plugin downloadable from the main page.
Audio is quite compatible with most games though there is still some room for improvement.
A debugger is provided with the emulator, which Lino has stated as 'mainly for developers'.
