Morningstar provides data on approximately 473,000 investment offerings, including stocks, mutual funds, and similar vehicles, along with real-time global market data on more than 12 million equities, indexes, futures, options, commodities, and precious metals, in addition to foreign exchange and Treasury markets. Morningstar also offers investment management services through its investment advisory subsidiares and had approximately $169 billion in assets under advisement or management as of June 30, 2014. We have operations in 27 countries.

Morningstar Canada is the result of the acquisition in late 1999 of Portfolio Analytics by Chicago-based Morningstar Inc. Morningstar Canada launched its investing website in 2000. The website offers access to and objective information on more than 6,000 funds available to individual investors in Canada. The site also offers independent editorial content produced by Morningstar analysts and journalists based in Toronto and around the world.

In addition to its investing site, Morningstar Canada provides a range of innovative products and services to advisors and institutions, including Morningstar® PALTrak®, investment research software for advisors; Morningstar® Advisor Workstation™, a comprehensive, web-based investment research and portfolio management solution system; and Morningstar Direct™, a global institutional investment analysis platform.
