Podzy is a completely on-premises, secure alternative to file sharing and sync solutions such as Dropbox and Box. Podzy combines the functionality and usability of popular 'boxed' file sharing software with unique security functionalities. First, Podzy allows businesses and administrators to install all the software infrastructure on site. This means that users, groups, metadata and storage can all be managed on-premises, whereas most Dropbox alternatives require the use of the public cloud. Second, Podzy offers client-side encryption on high-security groups. With common file sync and share software, a public key encypts files on the cloud. Podzy encrypts files prior to transit, with a device-specific key. This means that for high-security groups, not even an IT administrator can access high-security files. In addition to these unique functions, Podzy offers a range of storage options, such as Cloud or Hybrid options.
