Purple Tree is a simple and beautiful visualization tool for your hard drive space usage. A comprehensive treemap display allows you to see all your large folders and files at a glance! You can visually compare sizes and locate the large files, usually hidden inside the labyrinth of folders. The app features allow you to:

- Identify files by its contents type (Pictures, Music, Movies etc.) using colors;
- Find recently changed files using the Modification Date colormap;
- Zoom inside the subfolders to explore your hard drive structure;
- Show selected files and folders in Finder;
- Get detailed statistics on selected folder’s elements;
- Delete selected large files to free up disk space (this option may be deactivated in Preferences);
