RSS Desktop Aggregator

RSS Desktop Aggregator is a work in progress C# 4.0 productivity and time saver app that read and display RSS feeds and Outlook Items.

Some of Desktop Aggregator Features are:
•Manually/Automatically refresh modes.
•RSS Feeds can be marked as non active (so they won't be refreshed automatically).
•RSS Feeds can be marked as private so new history/caching are saved for that feeds.
•Display all/unread posts modes after refresh.
•Timeline and history for each post.
•Individual's posts history can be disabled (so no new post will be added under that post).
•Individual's posts can be hidden or completely deleted.
•Support for Gmail Account for displaying unread emails.
•Outlook Integrations: Some Outlook operations can be done from within the app's GUI (reply, delete).
•Feeds now be grouped in user-defined categories, be disabled (but still refreshed manually) and exported to HTML file.
• Each feed can be refreshed manually or by refreshing its category feeds.
•Posts' history track can be toggle on/off (per post and/or per feed).
•Feed's text encoding can be selected from the entire set defined in .NET framework.
•Incremental search capability.

Just paste the RSS links (like facebook notifications' rss link) in the RSS settings screen and you will never need to manually check for updates.

Since it is a work in progress (WIP) some limitations are presents:

1. Only well formed XML RSS feeds are valids due to parsing error (will write a custom parser later on).
2. Outlook Reader has been tested only on PST files only in Outlook 2007. Outlook Reader is currently disabled as default (until some COM exceptions are dealt with) but can be enabled in the settings screen and Outlook is needed to be opened and configured (but can minimized to the tray) before launching Desktop Aggregator.
