Symphonium Alternatives

Symphonium

A tool to help while learning to play the piano. Similar to Synthesia (proprietary), Linthesium and Piano from above (both discontinued).

3 Modes available with control on speed and track selection : listen, practice and play.
Listen doesn't require a MIDI keyboard and show the note played in a MIDI recording.
Practice will wait for you to play on a MIDI device the note displayed before going on.
Play will show the notes to play and play the complementary hand if you are currently learning a single hand.

For all those modes, it's possible to set a desired speed, to select the hands to play and to restrict to specific parts of the song.
