TURBISH monitors stuff by performing scheduled checks. Each check is executed once every minute. All checks are configured by the user. And there are no limit on how many checks you can create.

* Port (TCP)

The ports check verifies that TCP ports are responding. This enables you to verify applications that have open ports facing the internet. Some examples are: 22 SSH (Secure Shell daemon), 25 (Used by Mail Servers for SMTP), 3306 (Used by most MySQL Servers).

* Web (HTTP/HTTPS)

The Web checks lets you verify that your http or https website is working correctly. The check can also verify a string on the site. So if, for example, the database backend of your site stops working the check will notice that som expected text is not on the site.

* Ping (ICMP)

With ping checks you can monitor everything that responds to ICMP echo request packets. Desktop computers, Servers and Routers have this ability.

TURBISH supports the following types of notifications:

* Email

Email notifications can be sent to your email address.

* Pushover (Push)

Pushover.net is a push notification service with clients for iOS, Android and your Desktop.

* Threema (Push)

Threema is a mobile IM application that sends end-to-end encrypted messages.
