Microsoft User State Migration Tool is a scriptable command-line tool for IT professionals that assists in migrating user files and settings from one Windows PC to another, or to the same PC during in-place upgrades of the OS.
It has two main components: ScanState and LoadState that use XML files as input and/or output.
