Weco is an early stage open source discussion and link sharing platform experimenting with a cooperatively owned company structure and several unique features designed to help communities share and organise information more effectively.
We believe an ethical social network with the right features and governance structure could help communities reclaim sovereignty over their online presence, collaborate more effectively, and pool resources together to develop creative new FOSS tools, among many other benefits.
Our code base is available to download on GitHub under the AGPLv3 licence. This is our alpha release.
Feel free to explore the site and try out all the available features.
