Icecream Screen recorder is a screen recorder that can both record screen and take screenshots. The program records video, system sounds and the microphone audio.

Users can record in the following recording modes: Custom (select the area to work with manually by toggling the markers of the frame or select one of the default resolutions), Fullscreen, Last area, Area auto detection (hover your mouse over a window or an element you wish to capture and let the program automatically detect the area) and Around mouse (the recording area of a selected size will be moved with the mouse cursor). The videos can be saved in MP4, MKV and WebM formats.

Users can record webcamera along with the main video recording. Also, it's possible to upload images to be used as custom watermarks in the recorded videos. Zooming in (up to x16) and out is available during the screen capture.

Screenshots can be saves as image files of JPG or PNG format, copied to clipboard or uploaded to Icecream Apps server so that users can have a direct URL to taken screenshot.

Icecream Screen Recorder offers scheduled screen recording - enter start and stop time and date and the program will record the selected area during this time period.

Draw panel of the program allows adding various graphic elements to both screenshots and videos recorded. You may use brush, arrow, rectangle, oval, step tool and text graphic elements to make your videos and screenshots more vivid.
