We built Yintersync.NET to replicate large amounts of live data from multiple systems such as documents, databases, virtual machines and multimedia over low bandwidth connections. This is achieved by using delta encoding similar to Rsync, compression and shadow copies.
Designed for multi terrabyte datasets consisting of millions of files, Yintersync.NETs hashing algorithm can outperform gigabit local transfers yet is optimised for low bandwidth connections.
In our environment of 60 virtual machines on 15 hosts we use Yintersync to replicate 4tb of local file, database and mail backups in less than 4 hours. Additionally we replicate 7tb of Virtual Machines over a 10mbit connection nightly as our disaster recovery strategy.
Yintersync.NET is free for use with up to 2 agents.
